SINFONIA SMITH SQUARE

George Butterworth's Six Songs from A Shropshire Lad performed with Sinfonia Smith Square conducted by Simon Over. Sam won First Place, and the Audience and Orchestra votes, in the final of the Peter Hulsen Orchestral Song Award 2024 with this performance, featuring the orchestration by Phillip Brookes from his Eleven Songs from A Shrophire Lad. He became an Associate Artist with the orchestra.

CLONTER OPERA PRIZE

Three videos from the 2024 Clonter Opera Prize – the annual competition for singers nominated by the UK’s leading music conservatoires. Sam won First Prize and the Audience Vote. With pianist Robin Humphreys.
